ACNE
| EMPIRICAL | Giving our oldest son (about age 15) a quart of freshly made carrot juice daily for six months cleared his acne, never to return. |
| HYPOTHESIS | Since Vitamin A is important for the skin and epithelial linings (although synthetic man-made Vitamin A is toxic in high doses), maybe the plant carotenoids (not toxic in high doses) affect acne in very high doses. |
| MATERIALS |
JUICER -
enabling one quart of juice to be made in one pass (I prefer the Acme -
Centrifugal brand juicer). CARROTS - approximately 4 lbs make one quart. |
| EXPERIMENT |
Drink one quart of FRESH
(can't be prepackaged, store bought) carrot juice daily for six months.
Because of this occurrence with our son the experiment was tried with other teenagers; all who had the fortitude, tenacity, and motivation experienced the same dramatic result. |
| OBSERVATION & CONCLUSION |
After giving our oldest
son (at age 15) who had bad acne one quart of carrot juice daily for six
months, his acne totally cleared up and never returned. One quart of
fresh carrot juice effectively cures acne in six months without any
toxicities; in fact, it detoxifies the body and improves the immune
system. Vision improves; you can see better! The only side
effect is an orange skin which disappears on cessation of juicing.
There are no side effects (other than orange skin) except at first - the FLAREUP, HEALING REACTION which occurs in all detoxifications during the first few days ("you get sick before you get better" - a detoxification reaction) and can include skin rashes and eruptions, cold and flu-like symptoms and fever, headaches, bowel sluggishness or diarrhea, feelings of tiredness and weakness, disinclination to exercise, nervousness, negativity, malaise, or mental depression, etc. It is important not to quit the procedure during this reaction. These symptoms will pass in a few days and the person will feel better than ever, a real mental and physical exhilaration. It should be noted that carrot juice works in the same amount of time (i.e., daily for at least 6 months) as Accutane (Rx drug) but with no toxicities; with Accutane acne can return somewhat and can have extreme toxicities. Teenage suicide has been reported on Accutane!. |
