Leg Cramps &
Heart Arrhythmias

EMPIRICAL Since quinine (for leg cramps) was eliminated from OTC (over the counter) availability, it was decided to try minerals to stop the cramps; I noted when I took my high dose multivitamin-mineral every day I had less leg cramps.
HYPOTHESIS It was therefore considered that minerals must be effective.  Since electrical conductivity along the neuron is facilitated by minerals moving in and out of the cell wall, maybe by increasing the plasma mineral content to the optimum (and therefore total cell optimum) the electrical conductivity would no longer be erratic and the receptor organ prevented from misfiring causing cramps (later prevent heart arrhythmias).   Maybe epilepsy is a mineral depletion problem??
MATERIALS
  • High dose multivitamins and minerals - Daily One Capsules 2x daily (ignore directions on bottle).
  • Multiminerals - Multiminerals by Twinlab
  • Manganese - Manganese (10mg) by Twinlab
EXPERIMENT Daily One Capsules were taken twice per day along with the daily RDA amount of multiminerals (Twinlab) (4 capsules, 2 in the AM and 2 in the PM).  Where the increase in Magnesium in the multiminerals (daily required equals 500mg) caused diarrhea, the dosage of multiminerals was reduced until the diarrhea stopped then again increased.  At the suggestion of an empirical observation of a mentally advanced customer, Manganese (Twinlab) was added from 10, to 20, to 30 mgs for observation of results.
OBSERVATION & CONCLUSION Leg cramps stopped after approximate 2 to 3 weeks of building up the plasma concentration.  When the multiminerals and Manganese were discontinued in  10 to 20 days, the leg cramps returned.  Recommencement of the multiminerals and Manganese caused a cessation of the leg cramps in a few days.  This repeated stopping and restarting produced the same results every time.

It was also noticed that my heart arrhythmias stopped along with the leg cramps.  Multiminerals plus 10mg Manganese stopped heart arrhythmias approximate 50%, plus 20mg Manganese approximately 85%, plus 30 mg 100%.  One would conclude then that the apparent RDA (recommended daily allowance) for Manganese is around 20-30 mg.  Very few on the planet are receiving this amount.

It is obvious our food is deficient in minerals.  The agricultural land has been depleted and not replenished; therefore, supplementation is required.

Scores of customers who proceeded thusly reported the same results, both leg cramps and heart problems discontinued.  It was also noted that there were no more colds - the immune system enhancement!
