Vaginal Yeast Infections
| EMPIRICAL | Sue, my wife, through reading a natural therapy book "Dr. Wright's Book of Nutritional Therapy" (Rodale Press) pp. 373-375 cured her vaginal yeast infection herself. In amazement I asked why isn't this widely known and done. |
| HYPOTHESIS | If it works for one, it should work for all. |
| MATERIALS | Plain yogurt, lactobacillas acidophulls capsules, mini baster |
| EXPERIMENT | To allow women coming to the pharmacy with Rx's for vaginal yeast infections to read a couple of pages from a natural healing book mentioned above on the insertion of yogurt vaginally to cure yeast infections. Procedure: 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons of Lactobacillus acidophilus powder from capsules, mix well, insert 2 teaspoons at bedtime for 7-10 nights (a mini turkey baster holds 2 teaspoons and works well for insertion). |
| OBSERVATION & CONCLUSION |
99% of the women wanted
to read the handout. Hundreds returned at my request to
report that it worked. Although some women have heard about it, few
knew the procedure. Use morning vinegar douche. For more
enhanced details see Dr. Wright's book.
Upon observing my wife's results I asked gynocologists, when they called in prescriptions to the pharmacy, about using yogurt for vaginal yeast infections. All of them said it worked, but none of them will recommend its use. One of them said, "What would the pharmaceutical profession say if I recommended it." So an all natural therapy is being ignored in place of an inconsistent man made chemical therapy. |
