Although the art, its exposition and promotion, is the main thrust of this website, the following are resultant observations of the Artist, whose first love is art, about investigations and experiments in his practice as a Doctor of Pharmacy for 28 years......dreams for a better planet...

To achieve harmony requires the understanding of its components. The ultimate truths come from the discovery of these components of the universal order. That's for what we search.

Science and art have the same goals; the first more physically directed, the latter more mentally and emotionally involved. The objective physical is easier for science to decipher than the more obscure subjective mental is for art to discover.

The dream of the modernists is that art can lead to a state of ideal perfection, i.e., harmony (which we all seek). I believe this to be true. As science is seeking to extract the truths from nature through formulas, it should be possible to extract from the complexities of nature the simple specific truths for construction of an artistically stimulating, mentally rewarding perception. An important simple truth is the unique emphasis that nature places on transition points causing unequaled beauty.

As we approach the desired harmony, there will be a greater peace and petty, mundane desires will dissolve.

Great art exposes truths.
